CC 0311 Emergency Preparedness for Childcare Providers - Do you have a plan?

Recent emergency events including floods, fires and severe wind events that have occurred in southern Alberta highlight the need for childcare providers to have an effective emergency preparedness plan for their facility. This session will provide the early childhood educator the information required to begin to develop an all hazards emergency preparedness plan and learn how to access available assistance.

Presenter: Stephen Kirkpatrick M.DEM, B.Sc., B.EH., CPHI(C)

Stephen is currently working as a public health inspector in Lethbridge Alberta in the Built Environment Program. He has worked for Alberta Health Services for the past 8 years and before that worked in B.C. with the Interior Health Authority. He is working towards his Certified Emergency Manager designation.
